Skills Programme in Conduct Targeting training and development using given methodologies

This Unit Standard will provide recognition for those who conduct or intend to conduct targeted training and development using given methodologies, including group training, group facilitation and presentations. Formal recognition will enhance their employability and provide a means to identify competent trainers. This unit standard will be useful to people who are involved in identifying and providing structured and targeted skills development opportunities in the workplace with individuals and groups.

Duration

The programme duration is 32 hours on a part-time basis.

People credited with this Unit Standard are able to:

Plan and prepare for training and development;
Deliver presentations for training and development purposes;
Deliver group training sessions;
Facilitate group learning activities; and
Review training

Certification

Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive a Damelin results letter outlining the unit standard covered and Damelin will apply to ETDP on the learners behalf for the 117870 unit standard to be awarded.

Admission Requirements

Knowledge, comprehension and application of English at NQF Level 4/Grade 12 or equivalent.
Competency in the learning area in which they will provide training.
