Skills Programme in Assessment & Assessment Design

Learners who achieve these unit standards will be able to plan and conduct assessments within their field of expertise. This programme also covers the skills required to design and develop reliable assessment tools, within an outcomes-based framework. Learners will be required to complete a Portfolio of Evidence to support the competent findings of the assessor. The learner will be supported and guided towards reaching this goal.

Duration

The programme duration is 40 hours on a part-time basis.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive a Damelin results letter outlining the unit standards covered and Damelin will apply to ETDP on the learners behalf for the 115753 & 115755 unit standards to be awarded.

Admission Requirements

• Knowledge, comprehension and application of English at NQF Level 4/Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Competence in the relevant field in which they will be conducting and designing assessments.
