Successful learners who have achieved this unit standard will be able to moderate assessments in accordance with quality assurance requirements in a fair, valid, and reliable manner. The learner will be required to complete a Portfolio of Evidence to support the competent findings of the assessor. The learner will be supported and guided towards reaching this goal.

Duration

The programme duration is 32 hours on a part-time basis.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive a Damelin results letter outlining the unit standard covered and Damelin will apply to ETDP on the learners behalf for the 115759 unit standard to be awarded.

All competent moderators must obtain a Statement of Results from the ETDP SETA and then register with one or more SETAs in their field of expertise before moderating assessments.

Admission Requirements

  • Learners must have previous assessment experience.
  • Competency in the unit standard: 115753: "Conduct outcomes-based assessment".
  • It is recommended that candidates should have achieved unit standard: 115755: "Design and develop outcomes-based assessments" before attempting this unit standard.
