National N Diploma: (Engineering Studies: Chemical Engineering)

The Chemical Engineering programme is concerned with the manufacturing of chemicals on an industrial scale. It also involves processes that convert raw materials into various products that we use every day through physical, thermal or chemical changes.

Duration

The programme duration is 3 years on a full-time basis, or 4 years on a part-time basis.

National Certificate at each Level N4, N5, N6

Admission Requirements

Entry to N1: A Grade 9 Certificate with a pass in Mathematics and Science;
Entry to N2: National Certificate N1 in Engineering Studies; or Grade 10 with a pass in Mathematics and Science;
Entry to N3: National Certificate N2 in Engineering Studies; or Grade 11/Senior Certificate/NSC with a pass in Mathematics and Science.
